Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Monitors

CO2 monitors measure the room levels of CO2 produced by room occupants that can accumulate in poorly ventilated spaces in the same way as infectious aerosols.  CO2 levels can therefore be used as an indirect measure of the adequacy of ventilation for the purpose of reducing the risk of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory viruses.

CO2 levels repeatedly above 800 ppm may indicate that a space requires either increased natural or mechanical ventilation or where this is not possible, the installation of portable HEPA (Air) filters.
